I’m a communications specialist and integrative nutritionist based on Kauai.
Originally born in Germany, I moved to the United States at the age of five. I spent the majority of my upbringing in Southern California and then slowly made my way up the coast, attending California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo for Business, then moving to San Francisco to start my career in Public Relations.
Although I had a great experience in PR, deep down I wanted something different. Having spent nearly a decade navigating my own health journey, I developed a true passion for holistic health and knew I had to pursue it. One thing led to another, and in a matter of months, I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, moved to Kauai, and became a Certified Health Coach.
Today I work full-time for my dream company, PlantBaby, where I get the incredible opportunity to intertwine my business background with my passion for nutrition. My desire to continue learning and deepen my practice also led me back to school. Thanks to online education, I am currently working towards getting a master's in human nutrition and functional medicine.
Outside of PlantBaby hours and school, you'll find me either in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, at the yoga studio forever trying to perfect my half-moon bow pose, or on a long walk in the neighborhood listening to a podcast.
In and out of the office, my mission is to help people rediscover the simplicity of health and fall back in love with taking care of themselves one habit at a time.
